Three Wynn spas in one city? Each Macau sanctuary delivers its own distinct design, while sharing the same superlative Wynn service.
The spa at Wynn Palace
When it debuted in 2016, the Spa at Wynn Palace joined the award-winning Spa at Encore and the Spa at Wynn to form a trinity of tranquility in Macau and Cotai. The decor, treatments and atmosphere vary from spa to spa, but what ties the three together is the excellent service and personalized treatments.
"No matter which Wynn spa you visit, you will find consistency in our services," explains Spa Executive Director of Operations Jennifer Simms, who oversees all three spas. "You can tell the therapists have been trained by our Wynn spa trainers, based on details like the movements of their hands and their seamless techniques." Whether you prefer an ultra-exclusive VIP suite or a more casual girls' day out, Wynn spas in Macau deliver complementary yet distinct wellness journeys. Here's what you can expect at each atmospheric address.
SPA AT WYNN PALACE Best for... A bit of everything
Sporting gold and Champagne hues, the entrance of the spa channels the grandeur of an imperial Chinese palace. Down the grand promenade, two symmetrical rows of stone fu dogs stand at attention, while a regal peacock sculpture anchors the room. These symbolic Chinese elements communicate dignity and beauty—qualities that every Wynn spa shares.
The urban sanctuary and largest spa in Macau plays host to a light-filled salon, gym, pool, retail shop and 22 spa treatment rooms. Meanwhile, within the ladies’ relaxation area, guests can unwind with friends or enjoy the heat and water facilities on their own. For added versatility, the Spa at Wynn Palace also offers eight VIP suites—each complete with a daybed, mini bar, Jacuzzi, shower room and plush massage bed.
“We found at the Spa at Wynn Macau, and the Spa at Encore, that many of our guests love to enjoy the wet facilities with friends, while others prefer the privacy of having their own individual suites—and some like both,” explains Simms. “The guest journey at Spa at Wynn Palace includes all options, so each person may customize their time with us.”
The signature treatment:Emperor and Empress. You’ll wade into the three-hour-long Emperor and Empress couples’ treatment with a jasmine-infused bath, followed by an energy stone massage for him, an aromatic chakra-balancing rub-down for her and hydrating facials.
Signature tea and snacks: Green Haven tea, a blend of green tea and chamomile (made especially for the Spa at Wynn Palace); iced hibiscus zest tea, intended to be consumed after heat experiences; rose blossom for post-treatment; plus fresh fruit, dried mango, ginger, nuts and cookies.
SPA AT ENCORE Best for... Time alone
A suite at the Spa at Encore Macau
Hidden away on the first floor of Encore, the all-suite Spa at Encore feels like a dramatic departure from the hotel’s bold color palette. Awash in soft neutral tones, a discreet reception area welcomes guests with touchable textures, such as naval-inspired knotted walls, stone accents and radiant citrine crystals. Before each treatment, guests are invited to relax in their private sanctuary, where a dry sauna, marble hydrotherapy aroma bath and rich wood and leather accents await.
“The Spa at Encore is devoted to private suites, so you will go straight to your room instead of relaxing in common facilities,” says Simms. “This attracts people who prefer privacy or just want to get away from everything.”
The signature treatment:168 Yiliuba. The signature 168 Yiliuba treatment delivers 168 minutes of bliss, complete with six therapists and eight treatments. What’s included? A full-body salt scrub, dry body brushing, aromatherapy steam bath, synchronized four-hand massage, facial, scalp massage, paraffin for your hands and feet, and a foot massage.
Signature tea and snacks: Homemade ginger-honey tea, fresh juices, personal fruit platter, selection of nuts, dried fruit and Wynn granola cookies.
SPA AT WYNN Best for... A girls’ day out
A jacuzzi at the Spa at Wynn Macau
A wonderland of wellness experiences, the Spa at Wynn has everything you need for a relaxing day out. “If you want to spend a spa day with your girlfriends, stop in at the salon after a treatment, or go to the gym beforehand... this environment has everything,” says Simms.
Channeling a European residence with oriental touches, the Spa’s relaxation zone and heat treatment facilities feel spacious and calming—ideal for small groups who wish to relax together. Of course, if you prefer to fly solo, that’s an option, too. Among the 14 treatment rooms, you’ll find two VIP Suites—one of which includes an enticing six-foot, 10-inch-long whirlpool, set upon a platform like a throne.
The signature treatment:Silk and Cashmere Awakening. This two-hour-long classic experience starts with an exfoliation treatment (using warm silk gloves), followed by a full-body massage and cashmere-infused silky body wrap. To finish, a therapist applies rich shea butter body cream (infused with lotus flower extract) to leave your skin feeling silky smooth.
Signature tea and snacks: Ginseng tea, Wing Lei tea, infused fruit water, fresh fruit, dried fruit and cookies.
